I ordered a Kaweco Al piston with a medium nib, which was ground to a cursive italic. I am very happy with the nib work. The pen works perfectly: perfect ink flow (wet, never skip), and the nib is so smooth. I am very happy with appelboom. Communication is also great and quick. I will order another kaweco very soon.
I am happy with how my two pens I requested right foot obliques on came out. I am a lefty and many times it’s difficult to have the best experience with fountain pens. The changes made to work with how I hold the pen are exactly what I needed to help the issues.
I had a crisp italic grind done on the medium nib of my new Omas Frosted demonstrator. It quickly became one of my favorite pens - an effortlessly smooth writer. Anabelle's exquisite custom grinds are highly recommended!
I’ve had my sailor H-EF fountain pen for over 4 years and it had suffer from a stopped ink-flow resulting in scratchy writing almost from the start. I lived with it as I was very fond of the precise nib that allowed me - when it wrote - to write small. But I started using it less and less, only at home where I could fix it and get my hands dirty when it stopped. I got it cleaned and with a correction of the nib at appelboom by Annabel and now it is working perfectly for over a month straight and I take it everywhere. 10/10 recommend.
I bought a Pelikan from Appelboom specifically to get a nib grind from Anabelle. It was splendid. I had heard that her work was good and I'm glad that I had her do this nib.
