I purchased my Dialogue cc with a Broad nib and dark blue with rose gold accents. I couldn't be more pleased. The colorway is unique, and I appreciate the contrast in color and finish as well, The rose gold accessories are high polish, but the barrel has a velvety finish - just gorgeous! In my opinion, the richness of these characteristics makes the pen look more expensive than the retail price. Plus, it's fun to show "non-pen people" how this magical pen works. Pretty much everyone in my office has requested a demonstration!
As expected with Lamy, the bold 14k gold nib is just dreamy (it's a personal favorite). It glides beautifully over my Tomoe River paper.
Pro tip: I recommend filling a Dialogue cc with lubricating ink unless you plan to use it consistently daily.

It's a gorgeous pen!
I was attracted to it because of the vanishing nib and the understated elegance. It feels great in my hand, but it's a heavy pen! I like its heft, but I need to be in the mood for it and depending on the occasion, I might reach for another, lighter pen.
It writes beautifully, very smooth because of the gold nib. No issues with hard starts or uneven flow. I went with a B nib because that's what I saw in most reviews and the M seems a little "blah". A pen like this deserves to make a statement!
The rose gold accents are beautiful combined with the matte navy blue, but I'm not sure that the little protrusion is sufficient to protect the pen from rolling off a desk, so you might need to pay a little more attention than usual.
The leather sleeve fits nicely, but is tight. I haven't really found a good use for it yet, because I carry my pens in a case anyway...
Overall, I’m really impressed and would recommend it to anyone.
I love a different-than-normal anything. The Dialog CC is definitely different.
The twist mechanism works flawlessly, and even without use for several days, or even a couple weeks, the ball valve keeps the nib wet and ready to write. The pen is slightly oversized, but not as much so as a MB 149. It is heavier than many, which fits my preference. The nib is juicy wet, my EF writing more like an F, or wider on some papers. It came with some cartridges, which are ok, but they tend to not flow well enough, causing the pen to run dry after about half a page. But once I finish the cartridges off I’ll be trying out the converter and several varieties of other inks.
Overall, I love the pen. It’s part of my daily carry.
What can I say? It's an unusual pen. Most people who aren't familiar with it, pick it, look it over, and can't figure out what it is. Even if they know it's a pen, they are not sure how to make it write.
And it does write, too. So I have a curious item to entertain my friends with, and it's also a pen.
I purchased this pen after watching many reviews on YouTube, and I was not disappointed! I love the weight and the springiness of the extra-fine nib. The retracting mechanism is fun to use (I hope I don't wear it out!) and works flawlessly. It is a bit thicker than I was expecting, but I like my pens thick. The EF nib is much wetter than I have seen in other Lamy pens, but I like it!
I bought the blur Dialog CC because it is beautiful and I prefer wider pens (11mm + section).
At first use it seemed too wide for me (medium woman hands), especially since it also has the roll stopper.
But, I learned "how to hold it" (i.e. got accustomed to it) and the nib is so smooth, it is now always on my desk.
And it has its own slip case to protect it.
I like this pen...a lot.
I grew on me real quick.
The mechanism is fidget insanity.
The linear body might not appeal to some but it too has a uniqueness on it's own. I have med-large hands and the girth is fine.
The nib writes smooth and predictable.
Hard to put down and it has shadowed most of my pens in my rotation.
Firstly, my conclusion for dialog cc, it is a worth buying pen. Great balance, great design, lovely retracting mechanism, reliable 14k nib, capless and finally clipless.
I’ve been struggling for long for a capless pen. After trying the dialog 3 and pilot capless, i was still dissatisfied. I found the clips on them were uncomfortable to hold. Then I met the dialog cc. i purchased it on first sign. Comparing it to the legend lamy 2000, it is also undefeatable. I had a lamy2000 but i sold it. The barrel was slippery and my fingers sweated while holding it. Dialog cc is now my daily writer. No issue on using it so far.
And for the service. Many thanks to Appelboom. I had some qestions and Appelboom responded quickly. Really appreciate it. I will definitely purchase again.
