Appelboom's nibmeister fixed an old Montblanc which suddenly stopped working. My pen was ready in two weeks, as advertised, and now it writes perfectly. Thank you!!!
I recently bought a Pelikan m1000 and it didnt wrote great out of the box. For a fine nib it was too wide with too much ink flow. I shipped the pen to Appelboom with a note what my preferred line width and inkflow would be. Within 2 weeks I received the pen again. The nib adjustments were exactly what I wanted. The pen now writes fantastic. Joost and Anabelle, thank you very much for this great service. I already used this service many times for pens in my collection. I would highly recommend Appelboom.
Anabelle Hiller did a fantastic job on grinding a medium steel nib to a medium architect. The nib writes quite wet, has great natural line variation and a very (very) pleasant amount of feedback - all just like I wished for. That Leo is now one of my favourite writers, couldn't recommend her service more - thanks so much!

I recently ordered two new pens, both with an architect grind by Anabelle. Her work is impeccable - the nibs are nice and sharp without being scratchy, and I'm so pleased with the line variation.
They're comfortable to write with and lay down some lovely lines - great to write and to draw with!
I bought a Pelikan m800 from a local shop and I liked it, but it wasn’t the same feeling as some of my other pens. A bit dry but smooth nib which made me use it, but not as much as I could!
I decided to grind it from a medium to a cursive italic. This is my first nib grinding.
It took about a week from it arrived at appelboom until it was back.
First impression when I tried the nib with the cursive italic was “it’s amazing!”. Good ink flow, smooth but with some hint of delicate feedback! A completely new pen from what I had before. Now my m800 belongs to my daily writing collection of pens!
I'purchased 3 MB 149, the nib sizes are: O3B, O2B and 2B. I' ve turned to Appelboom nib specilist in order to fix the baby bottom issues encountered with these nibs. I am pleased with the result, the nibs write smooth, wet and give line variation.

When I ordered the Leonardo Officina Blue Hawaii Furore Grande, I knew I wanted to have a custom grind. This was my frist custom grind and it came out amazing! I requested a .7mm stub similar to the Esterbrook Gena nib. It is perfect, smooth and created the most attractive lines. I love writing with this pen even more because of the AppelBoom's Nib Smith. The amount charged for the nib customization is well worth it and quite affordable. I will use this service again on future pen purchases. Thank you, AppelBoom!
I asked for a cursive italic grind from a medium jowo on my Leonardo MZ. The flow is perfect, the nib is smooth and consistent. I'm thoroughly impressed by Anabelle's work and I'm looking forward to trying out more grinds from her. Thank you Anabelle!
