A Refreshing Twist on a Classic – Stunning Color and Unmatched Quality

  • Review Add on: 05-05-2026

I have always been a fan of Pelikan products for their exceptional build quality and performance. They are incredibly reliable and well-crafted. However, I must admit that their traditional, classic designs had started to feel a bit boring and predictable over time. This particular model completely changed my perspective. The color combination is absolutely captivating—it’s what finally pushed me to add another Pelikan to my collection. Even though it is slightly more expensive than the standard models, the unique aesthetic appeal makes it worth every extra penny. Beyond the beautiful appearance, it delivers exactly what I expect from the brand: a smooth, flawless writing experience and a perfectly balanced feel in the hand. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. It’s a beautiful object that doesn't compromise on performance.

Nice pen

It is a bit small for me, but as a present for someone not so involved in fountain pens it is great, a really nice and beautiful pen to see; and like any other M200 very reliable.

Buyers Beware!!! A plastic special edition from Pelikan

This is an over priced, super lightweight, plastic fountain pen. Not what I expected at all from this special edition fountain pen from Pelikan. The only thing of value is the nib. The box that it came in is a higher quality than the fountain pen itself. I love all of my other fountain pens which I have purchased from Appelboom, but this one is an absolute disappointment! Would have only given it 1 star across the board, but the technology is making me give it at least 2 stars.
