Under no circumstances do I recommend Appelboom. I paid for my pen on 15 July. I finally received it on 5 October. I'm not sure any buyer would be ok with this. Despite listing the item for sale on their website, they did not actually have it in their inventory. Instead they were waiting on delivery from Esterbrook, yet they (1) never listed it as a pre order item, (2) Esterbrook restocked twice but somehow they "never got their delivery" and (3) continued to promise a September delivery. If I didn't continue chasing, I would still not have received it. It was only on my persistence that they "somehow" sourced "the last one" from Esterbrook, and had Esterbrook send it to me direct. If it was indeed the "last one", how were they going to fulfil the rest of their orders. And they have no conveniently changed their website listing to say to contact them for availability before ordering.

I am so pleased with this Estie, the glitter particles are so pretty and the overall look of this pen is stunning. The most important is the wonderful NIB! I chose EF and the service Tune and smooth - I am so happy with the writing experience - thank you!

Beautiful pen with beautiful details. Obsessed with the shimmering glitter! The stub nib (1.1mm) is very smooth and glides over the paper nicely. Nice ink flow.
I like the proportions, feel and weight of the pen overall. Cap closes tightly.
