An Onoto fountain pen has been high on my wish list for years. What used to hold me back – the price – is fortunately no longer an obstacle. The Onoto Scholar in blue with yellow-gold trim lives up to Onoto’s promises: a beautiful, well-balanced and understated fountain pen that writes with surprising ease. It’s a pleasure to write with, even during longer writing sessions. Add to that the large #6 nib and the lovely leather case, and the picture is complete. It’s wonderful that Appelboom Pens has added this legendary brand to its collection.
