Retro 51 Tornado Vintage Metalsmith Frederick Douglass Rollerball / Bolígrafo

The Retro 51 Tornado Vintage Metalsmith Douglass is a tribute to Frederick Douglass, an American social reformer, abolitionist and statesman. Born a slave, he escaped at 20 years old and became a national leader of the abolitionist movement in Massachusetts and New York. He was most famous for his oratory and incisive antislavery writings.

The portrait of Douglass can be found on the finial and the storage tube.

The Retro 51 Tornado Pen can easily be converted from rollerball to ballpoint by changing the refill. The Retro 51 Tornado pens use a Retro 51 rollerball refill (included) or standard international ballpoint refill.
