Great Pen and superior service

The Nexus writes very well from the start and very, very long.! You will "run out of steam" before you run out of ink!! . Key points for me was nib, ink supply and ink security. (I had a pen "burp" on a recent trip so ink security rated high. I watched several review and employed AI to critique the pen against others in my collection. It came out very well rated. It is attractive, good writer. I was hooked. Any questions I asked about the pen and the purchase process were answered very quickly by Appelboom. They are very good. I ordered it knowing it would have to be obtained for the company...so a delay of a few days.

Once Appleboom received it the pen was packed and dispatched immediately. The fact that I received 4 days later astounded me. . I rank Appelboom service as superior
The Nexus is attractive, very well constructed, has a large capacity and a joy to write with.

Nexus pen is a smooth writer with huge ink capacity

I got the blue Nexus pen with silver trim to complement the black Nexus with silver trim I got earlier in the year. This way I can have blue and black inks in the pens, respectively, at all times. In my previous review of the black Nexus, I gave it four stars after using the pen for a couple of weeks. I would amend this and give the Nexus 5 stars because the things that bothered me before (slightly sharp ink window cutout and slightly slippery metal grip section) do not bother me any more. What remains is an amazingly consistent steel nib writer with huge ink capacity. Great daily writer.

A beautiful, massive pen

I have had the pen for about a week. It is heavier than I expected as 41gr is the uncapped weight! Filling is a lot of fun, comes with pipette and ink bottle of Diplomat blue. The edges of the ink windows are a bit sharp. Outside trim is gold coloured rather than silver, but it suits the blue rather well. The grip is silver coloured. Nib is quite smooth.
