Review Title: Vibrant as a sari, smooth as silk—this pen is India in writing form. My other pens are still jealous

This pen is a tribute to my mother, who spent years in India and embraced its vibrant culture. I wanted a pen that reflected India’s beauty and soul, with a real flex nib that could be soft, expressive, and still reliable for everyday use.

When I found the Magna Carta Mag 600 Verde Royale here at Appelboom, nothing else compared—and as far as I know, this is the only place to get it.

The Indian-made resin is breathtaking: rich swirls of green, red, and gold with stunning chatoyance. It’s bold and elegant, with perfect gold-plated trim.

The nib writes slightly broader than early versions, but it’s silky smooth and so soft that you barely need to touch the paper. For the first week, I used no other pen.

While still learning flex writing, I can see its potential— I heard it improves with use. It may not flex like a vintage pen out of the box, but it’s a joy. And it’s easy to clean too!
