The Visconti Van Gogh ‘Café Terrace at Night’ collection is inspired on a painting Vincent van Gogh made in 1888. The painting is not merely an interpretation of night life in Arles, it was actually created at night, using oil paint on canvas.

The name of the painting and artist are delicately engraved around the pen's ring, and each pen is packed into a unique gift box that is complemented with a faithful reproduction of the painting. The pen itself utilizes Visconti's eighteen-faceted design, the many edges enhancing the vivid colors of the pen.

The Visconti fountain pen has a stainless steel nib, available in several line widths, and uses standard international cartridges or the supplied converter. The Van Gogh fountain pen is also available with a large nib (model A10), which bears the name of the painter.

Another of the beautiful Visconti pens from their Van Gogh line. Aside from a small issue in ordering, Appelboom delivered another quality product that lives up to their reputation of having a great selection and excellent customer service.

I recommend always opting for their “tune and smooth” process that turns a beautiful pen into a beautiful writing pen. Appelboom has become my only source for high quality fountain pens.

It's a great pen at an excellent price. It’s hard to find Visconti pens in Extra-Fine nibs, but Appelboom has them in various styles. I received great service from Appelboom, fast shipping, and quick responses from the Appelboom team when I had questions. I especially liked the “tune and smooth” process that Appelboom provides. My pens arrived in perfect condition and provided a delightfully smooth writing experience right out of the box. I would highly recommend Appelboom for all your fountain pen needs.
